The CMI Health Assessment analyzes the processes around an organizations software development. The process model employed embraces the Capability Maturity Model (CMM) and incorporates standards of software development advocated by the IEEE.
CMI interviews the software development team to determine exactly how the organization develops and maintains software. We analyze documents that describe the processes, policies and customs surrounding the organization’s development efforts.
Lastly, we identify and analyze the software development environment itself. These activities culminate in a Health Assessment Document that describes how an organization currently develops and maintains software products, and provides recommendations to improve software development efficiency within that organization.
